One of our annual family traditions is a visit to Lucketts Spring Market in Berryville, Virginia. Old Lucketts Store is actually located in Leesburg, but a few years ago they moved their annual Spring Market, which attracts thousands of people from across the country, to the Clarke County Fairgrounds in Berryville. I absolutely love the change in venue as it gives more opportunity for shoppers and vendors to have space needed to set up shop and search for vintage finds in a structured space.
This year was Miss Ava’s first trip to Lucketts. Unfortunately, this year has been a rainy one for Northern Virginia and this year, Lucketts Spring Market weekend also had some rain. We did not let that keep us away and we are so glad that we braved the weather and headed north to Berryville. The past few years, I did not have a reason for going aside from just m love for vintage, rustic, chic and farmhouse style finds. Next year, I will be closer to completing our family home that we are custom building. I will be on a mission to find the perfect pieces to make our house a home.
Each year, there are more than 200 vendors that attend and bring their best. One of our favorite parts is the vendors in the East Grove section. There are all sorts of goodies there and you just never know what you will find. We like to collect a lot of military memorabilia so hitting up East Grove is the best for unique vintage finds.
We had a great time today at Luckett’s Spring Market in Berryville. Next year my house will be built and I’ll be able to grab lots of goodies just got a few things for @SemperK9 this year. . . . . #lucketts #luckettstore #luckettsspringmarket #luckettspringmarket #babybaity #avaleigh #abramchristopher #bagsonamission #semperk9 @luckettstore
Did we mention the food? Absolutely love the selection of food trucks and snacks throughout the market including this delicious cup of pulled pork, mac n cheese, and coleslaw from the BBQ food tent. The live music is a nice touch although Abram has sensitive ears, the rest of us thoroughly enjoyed it. We spent hours browsing and would have stayed longer but my little A’s were ready to head home. We cannot wait for next year’s event and we will hopefully have our home ready! Oh, I almost forgot. You can grab VIP tickets for the entire weekend including the VIP buyers event prior to the public opening on Friday.
Enjoy these photos I took from the 2018 Lucketts Spring Market at Clarke County Fairgrounds in Berryville Virginia. Hope to see y’all there in 2019!
